Colleagues from our team based in Portlaoise last week hosted a Charity Bake Sale to raise funds for the Midland’s Simon Community.
The team in Portlaoise came together to produce a massive array of goods that were fit not just to feed our team but all the other teams and departments working in the same building! On offer were treats such as brownies, cupcakes, swiss rolls, rice krispie squares and chocolate cake to name a few.
Once the sale opened, the treats did not last long! All the items on sale disappeared quickly to leave an amazing total of €811 raised by the team! The money raised will help Midland’s Simon Community to provide services that include; Emergency Accommodation, Regional Support Service, Housing with Support and Out of Hours Services.
A big thank you to everyone who was involved with the bake sale, wether that was baking cakes or purchasing treats!
