This year, Mallon is celebrating its 30th anniversary! It’s hard to believe that it has been 30 years since Mallon was launched, from its humble beginnings in a tiny office in Cookstown to now employing over 100 people across the Island of Ireland.
We’re incredibly proud to have reached this milestone and are immensely grateful to our loyal customers and dedicated employees for making everything we’ve achieved so far possible.
As the start of a year of celebrations, we have chosen to mark this special occasion by unveiling a new special edition Mallon logo.
Looking Back at 30 Years of Mallon
The past 30 years have been quite the journey for our company. We have worked with a lot of different customers, delivered numerous successful projects, turned colleagues into lifelong friends and enjoyed plenty of laughs along the way. Some of our key company milestones include:
- 1995 – Mallon Launched
- 1996 – Joined IRLOGI (Irish Organisation for Geographic Information)
- 1999 – Acquisition of Diamond Software
- 2001 – Mallon achieves ISO 9001 Certification
- 2001 – Provision of support for Foot and Mouth Outbreak
- 2005 – Establishment of Digitisation and Scanning Department
- 2005 – We celebrate 10 years in business
- 2006 – Mallon opens its purpose built headquarters in Cookstown
- 2014 – Mallon opens its Dublin office
- 2015 – We celebrated our 20th anniversary with colleagues
- 2016 – Mallon achieves ISO 27001 Certification
- 2016 – Joined NI Chamber of Commerce
- 2016 – Joined EUROGI (European Umbrella Organisation for Geographic Information)
- 2017 – Establishment of Earth Observation Team
- 2018 – Success with Consortium on ESA Framework
- 2020 – Mallon wins Best Service Award at the Government Opportunities Excellence in Public Procurement
- 2021 – Mallon launches current company branding
- 2021 – Team grows beyond 100 staff
- 2022 – Joined EARSC (European Association of Remote Sensing Companies)
- 2023 – Mallon commits to becoming a Net Zero business with 2040 target
- 2024 – Team grows beyond 125 staff
A Year of Celebrations
We are looking forward to the year ahead of celebrations, during which we will look back at our past achievements and consider our future commitments and goals.
We will also take the time to celebrate and share our successes with all our colleagues. Without their hard work, dedication, and effort, Mallon wouldn’t be the success it is today.
